In the week leading upto the game's PS4 and Xbox One launch, Dutch website TechTastic spotted a Red Dead Redemption 2 PC listing on Media Markt's Swedish website, carrying a release date of December 31, 2019. This isn't the only time we've heard rumblings of a possible Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release. Nonetheless, Rockstar Games has yet to confirm a possible PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. Thanks to the Red Dead Redemption 2 companion app a host of file parameters have been found to suggest the existence of a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. Considering that GTA V showed up on PC two years after the original PS3 and Xbox 360 release, it's safe to say that we could expect Red Dead Redemption 2 to show up within the same time frame. While it's too early to tell if this footage is real or not, it ties in with a previous report that a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is in the works, evidence of which was discovered with the Red Dead Redemption 2 companion app. The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC build number appears to be 1118.8 too.

Options such as FXAA, Vsyc, Distance Scaling, Texture Quality, Shader Quality, Shadow Quality, and Refresh Rate are present. Thanks to a video on YouTube we have an idea of what to expect in terms of Red Dead Redemption 2 PC settings. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC is closer to release than you might think.
